Preserve Your Printed Photos

Slides, Scrapbooks, Photo Albums, Memorabilia, Letters, etc.

Protect the past, organize the present, inspire the future.

Preserving printed photos and other analog media means more than just keeping them safe — it’s about bringing them into the digital age.

By scanning and digitizing, adding searchable metadata, and properly organizing your collection, your photos become easy to find and ready to use for future projects.

Old photo albums, magnetic albums, boxes of loose prints, slides, and memorabilia can be transformed into well-organized digital libraries and archival boxes.

From there, your memories can be repurposed into photo books, LIFEazines, video montages, digital frames, wall art, and more — ensuring your history and stories are preserved and shared for generations to come.

Preserving Your Photo Legacy

  • black and white photos album

    Old Photo Albums & Scrapbooks

Whether you’ve inherited treasured black-and-white photo albums or lovingly created scrapbooks of your own, these collections hold the stories of your family. Preserving them ensures that the memories, history, and legacy they contain can be shared with future generations.

  • stacks of photo albums

Photo Albums & Scrapbooks / Creative Memory Books

From colorful scrapbooks to decades of family photo albums, these collections are filled with love and memories—but they can also take up a great deal of space. Many older albums, especially “magnetic” ones, can actually harm photos over time. And while these books meant everything to you, children often feel overwhelmed by the sheer volume and may not want to inherit them all. Preserving and curating them now ensures the stories inside are protected and shared in ways future generations will truly appreciate.

  • box of printed photos disorganized

    Boxes of Loose Prints

Shoeboxes and bins full of loose photos can feel overwhelming—chaotic piles with no clear place to begin. Don’t worry. With my experience and expertise, I can help sort through the confusion, working closely with you to identify people, places, and events. Together, we’ll bring order to the chaos and preserve your photos in archival boxes or binders so they’re safe, organized, and easy to enjoy.

  • slide carousel

    Slides

Boxes of slides—still tucked in carousels or sleeves—can take up a surprising amount of space while going largely unseen, especially without a projector. Yet slides often capture sharper, more vibrant images than prints, preserving memories in incredible detail. I can help transform these hidden treasures into organized, digital collections, so the stories, faces, and moments they contain can be shared, enjoyed, and preserved for generations to come.

  • plaques patches trophies memorabilia

    Memorabilia

Keepsakes, mementos, souvenirs, heirlooms—they all tell a story. While they can take up space, each piece holds memories worth preserving. I help sort, organize, and protect your treasures so their stories live on for generations.

    Scanning vs Digitizing

Scanning and digitizing are often used interchangeably, but they’re not quite the same. Scanning is simply creating a digital copy of a physical photo or document—think of it as taking a high-quality snapshot with a scanner. Digitizing, on the other hand, goes a step further. It includes enhancing the image, restoring faded colors, organizing files, and adding details like names, dates, and keywords so you can easily find and share them.

Scanning preserves the photo—digitizing preserves the story.

I highly recommend Jill and her excellent service!  Jill was a huge help and digitized literally hundreds of photos for us for our daughter’s wedding video.  She did it all quickly and very professionally and took very good care of our precious pictures.  The digitized photos came out looking even better than the originals because she took the time to correct all of the red eyes and other flaws, it was amazing!  I don’t know how we would have managed without her help.
