  • Overwhelmed to Overjoyed: How Jill Helped Me Create the Perfect Photo Gift

    It started with 18,000 photos in my phone. I felt daunted. How on earth could I possibly get to producing a photo album in six weeks to gift to my child for his graduation? I had not bothered to sort and delete photos over 18 years, I was like a lot of people, thrilled to have a camera in my phone but overwhelmed by the number of photos I had - and how to organize them, edit them and make a choice over what was print-worthy. Yes, your phone’s manufacturer will give you suggested albums nowadays, but it’s quite imperfect and at AI’s whim.

    I had heard about Jill from a friend. From our first meeting, I was put at ease. She walked me through step by step what I needed to do, even sending me short 1-minute videos on exactly what to do on my phone. They were crystal clear instructions, and it turned out not to be as time-consuming as I thought. I had to narrow down the photos, which I did to about 2,000, but I still felt stuck because I couldn’t print all of them, even though I felt they were album-worthy.

    Not to worry because I had Jill! She took the project from there, with an eagle eye with caring and warmth, selected and organized the photos into 4 albums. To say the final product is luxury level is an understatement. They are a full notch above what you can get online, think wedding album level. The print quality is beyond, the presentation, stunning.

    As important, Jill is a true pleasure to work with. She has all the expertise you would want and also a pleasing, enjoyable interface. She really cared about the project and that I was happy. It felt like having a friend at your side, she knew how to tell a story with an album, and what photos to choose for it. I learned a lot from her and will take better photos in the future.

    If you need help getting your photos organized into albums, Jill is the person. She’s an ace.
